Leica X-PAD is a modular software. The software consists of main modules and optional modules.
The license requires at least a main module to be activated.
This online manual specifies which software version includes each function and which modules are required. For example:

SURFACE&VOLUME : the function requires the optional module Surface&Volume.

Main modules

GNSS: main module containing all basic functions for surveying and stakeout with GNSS receiver.

TPS: main module containing all basic functions for surveying and stakeout with total station.

Optional modules

TPS Robotic: add-on module that enables the use of robotic total station commands. Requires the TPS module.
X-Pole: add-on module that enables the simultaneous use of the GNSS receiver and the total station.
GIS: add-on module for GIS data surveying enabling to record GIS features and attributes definable by the user.
Surface & Volume: add-on module for surface stakeout, volumes and surfaces calculation.
Road: add-on module that enables the importing of road data from different formats and stakeout of every element of the track according to different methods.
Auto Measuring: add-on module for automatic measurement with motorized total station.
Bathimetry: enables management of bathimetric surveys through acquisition of depth data from depth sounder and GNSS or TPS position. Includes a route control.
Locator: enables connection to utilities detectors and to record depth in correspondence to GNSS positions.
Build Extension: add-on module that includes the Leica X-PAD Build specific features.
Cadaster: add-on module to enables cadastral functions. (ITALY ONLY)
